Volunteers are essential to the ReStore

null

Are you looking for a way to give back to the community?  The Habitat ReStore needs energetic, fun-loving individuals for a variety of duties. From assisting customers, processing donations, arranging displays, answering phones to harvesting from older homes – there’s something for everyone.

Hours are flexible. Meet some wonderful new friends and make a difference.

Tom Lemons coordinates the ReStore’s volunteer program for in-store and harvesting needs, and for individuals or groups wishing to schedule a volunteer day at the store.  He can provide you with more information on volunteering and answer your questions.  If you are interested in becoming a ReStore volunteer, or want to explore how your group can participate, stop in or call Tom at 563-391-4949.  The hardworking volunteers who contribute their time and talents to make a positive impact on the environment and housing needs in the Quad Cities make the ReStore possible.

Thank you to the dozens of regular volunteers who make the ReStore a success!

  • Cashiering

Volunteers enjoy "Harvesting" valuable building materials from homes prior to demolition. Recently, the ReStore harvested many valuable items from the Villa de Chantal prior to demolition.
