Volunteers are essential to the ReStore

Are you looking for a fun way to give back to the community?  The Habitat ReStore needs energetic, fun-loving individuals for a variety of duties. From assisting customers, processing donations, arranging displays, answering phones, office work, and various other special projects – there’s something for everyone.

Hours are flexible. Meet some wonderful new friends and make a difference.

Gail Yingling coordinates the ReStore’s volunteer program for in-store and harvesting needs, and for individuals or groups wishing to schedule a volunteer day at the store.  She can provide you with more information on volunteering and answer your questions.  If you are interested in becoming a ReStore volunteer, or want to explore how your group can participate, stop in or call or Gail at 563-391-4949.  The hardworking volunteers who contribute their time and talents to make a positive impact on the environment and housing needs in the Quad Cities make the ReStore possible.

Volunteer orientations are necessary prior to beginning work at the ReStore.  These sessions last approximately one hour and are held at the ReStore, 3629 Mississippi Avenue, Davenport, IA.  No R.S.V.P.'s necessary.  Come see how you can contribute to the ReStore mission.

Orientations currently scheduled include:

 Saturday, February 18th - 9:00 a.m.
